This evening we came in after a long travel day as we are full time RVers. We stopped here thinking we would have a hot dinner and relax. I asked what the soup of the day was….the response I received was “I don’t know”. Didn’t offer to go check….nothing! So I ordered a salad. My fiancé ordered the chicken fried chicken. This store is obviously poorly managed. There were only 6 other tables aside from us. We saw 3 people who appeared to be management, and 5 or 6 servers. We waited almost 10 minutes at the hostess stand before being seated. After being seated, it was almost 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table, and that was with us staring at every employee we saw. Guys come on what is happening here - the food was not good at all - the broccoli was dried out and room temp. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and not in a good way. The corn muffins…honestly I’m nervous they gave me the uneaten corn muffins from the last table. Chicken was ok. The servers were nice but tired and seemed like they didn’t have enough people so they mentally had just given up.
Placed a to go order and was not only greeted but attended to by Ms. Tina and Ms. Tamara they both worked together to be sure my order was take and accurate.
This is the worst Cracker Barrel I’ve ever eaten at! The service was very lacking. The food just seemed left over. Pinto beans were so thick that you couldn’t eat it with cornbread , the Mac & cheese was dry, steamed broccoli was cooked it where it fell apart, rolls were either uncooked or burnt no in between.
