Broccoli was raw, food was bland, they forgot all the white gravy for potatoes and meat.
I normally love Cracker Barrel, but this order was really terrible. The chicken noodle soup I ordered for my mom, who has been sick, was not soup at all. It was a half a cup of mushy noodles with no liquid at all. The dumplings I ordered were similarly cold and dry, and the always dependable chocolate cake was also dry. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the manager shouldn't have allowed that food to leave the building.
Missing my turnips and my roast is burnt !
Both the country fried steak and hamburger steak were dry and did not include any type of gravy which I expected as I have in the past. The loaded mashed potatoes were anything but loaded. It was a little bit more than a couple of tablespoon topped with a little bit of cheese. The meals lacked any taste.I was very disappointed
The turkey was dry, the mashed potatoes and the biscuits looked and tasted like they had been sitting for hours. Both had hardened. The only thing that was really good was the green beans and carrot cake.

They never seem to be able to include everything in orders. We are always missing the correct amount of biscuits, especially when we order the four biscuits. We are almost always missing sauces and toppings (cranberry with turkey, tartar sauce with fish). Today we are missing THREE orders of Sawmill Gravy ... and tartar sauce and lemon that the menu states should come with the Friday Fish Fry.
The steak looked as tho it was boiled. The hash browns and eggs were bland and overcooked. I definitely would not order this again.
