I had the New York Strip cooked medium rare with eggs over easy, sugar cured ham and a side of grits. The food was great! Id like to say my server was kind and helpful. Great service. I feel the issue here is management. My bowl (the brocolli) had some yellow substance crusted to it so, I didn’t eat it. My friends plate had a hair on it. And this was how my “chicken tenders” was brought out, i didn’t even get a regular fry. This was absolutely unacceptable to serve. Good atmosphere with good food. There was 9 of us. Half of the table got their food first and the other half took a while. We were almost done eating by the time they got their food. I guess the server was overwhelmed. Other than that the food was good. It’s always fun to browse around the store. Clean bathroom.
On Easter Sunday 2025 my family and I came to the Cracker Barrel on south mall road after church services for lunch. Waited maybe 20 mins for a table. Greeted by the most outstanding waitress I’ve ever had in my life. Madison is a young lady with the best attitude and manners that will blow your mind, Always smiling and was very respectful and patient with us. I was there on 03/04/25 and it was my birthday and I told my waitress that the mashed potatoes had to much pepper in them that I would like a different side she never returned back to my table till it was time for my check told her it was my birthday and she said well I hope you have a great day thanks for coming in and left the table so I go to check out and I told the person that I was paying what happened and he acted like he didn’t care so I’ll not be back to that location at East town.
