A Great Way to Pick a Hotel What can you say about the Cracker Barrel? The menu and the quality of the food is generally very good for the money. In addition, I have found that picking a hotel at the same exit as the Cracker Barrel, is usually a safe way to pick an unknown hotel. This method did not fail me in Joplin!
fun environment and great staff We at here at about 10:00 on a Fri night. Our server was very patient and friendly.While we waited for our food, we shoped in the store attached and found some fun old-time games and extras. I got the chicken and dumplings which was very bland, not much flavor. However, the hashbrown caserole and the green beans were both delicious...
We stopped here for breakfast on our trip on a busy Saturday morning. Even though it was busy, we were seated pretty quickly. The food was served hit and there was plenty of it. The patty sausage was a little thin, however, and overcooked. Otherwise, everything wad great, including the service.

inconsistant I had the butterfly shrimp platter with cole slaw and steak fries...my shrimp were burnt and overcooked but everything else was real good as was the service..this is the second time in 6 months that I got some crappy shrimp...used to always be good...think I will just stick to breakfast here
Not impressed The food was okay and the server was pleasant, but neither was anything exceptional. I didn't like the idea of eating in a department store atmosphere.
I Love Crackerbarrel I had Chicken Fried Chicken and my wife had Chicken & Dumplings. The food was great as usual and the people are fun to talk to. Great Place!
Come on down Now that smoking is no longer allowed in this store, we can fully enjoy the wonderful, homemade food and great service. They've added a bunch of new items that are wonderful.
