Typical Stop Cracker Barrel has been our typical stop every time we go through Joplin, I love their biscuits with honey. Even though they are right off 44 we really never have a long wait and are in and out within an hour. My only con...they don't have waffles on their menu =0(
Good place for the older crowd Really good homemade in appearance food. I enjoy the old rustic atmosphere. Often you could find something fun and unusual in the gift store before you eat
Satisfied Not all Cracker Barrels are the same; as with any chain the company standards are not always reflected; that is not the case in the Joplin store. The employees have a great attitude, the food was served at the proper temperature and in a timely manner. Just good down home folks.

Good Low Carb Menu I am diabetic, so I always look for a place that I can get low carb foods. Crackerbarrel has a great low carb menu that is far better than most. Their blackened fish is amazing.
Good food and great service The food was quite good and the servers very friendly and efficient. We will visit Cracker Barrel again.
Country Cookin Easy off the interstate and easy back on....not waiting and good food. Nice gift shop in the front as they all have with neat gifts. Got a stuffed opossum there which I gave to a wildlife rehabber friend.
Average I think the day we were there last was understaffed. Food (chicken & dumplings) were not very warm at all. Service was slow. 'had a lot of cute Christmas decorations, though.
Good breakfast stop The Barrel lived up to it's name. A good family style place to stop and eat. I recommmend the breakfast style fried chicken breast.
