Slow but steady Was not the best, but hungry. Staff was slow, food wasn't cooked correctly as requested. Had a choice of sides with my BLT so I picked fries, however they did not come out with the meal and when they finally came out in a bowl there were about 5 in the bowl and some were raw.
Not so good We love Cracker Barrel but this last visit was not very good, they gave us a small amount of food and it was cold. We went for breakfast and had about 1 tbsp of eggs an a half cup of hash browns which I loveeeeee. And are waitress hardly checked on us.
Standard Cracker Barrel They were very, very busy on the night we were there, but they managed to serve us quickly and get our order right. The staff was very friendly despite the crowd, and the food was served hot.
Country Cooking at it's Best It's like my mother made on Saturday mornings.She was raised in Marengo, In. and had 8 brothers and sisters. She was a greatcook as they are at Crackerbarrel. The country gravy is to die for. The biscuits are like my Grandma's. Go in Sept and Oct. for Apple's on Pancakes,Waffles,Biscuits,Ice Cream or just by themselves.
Delightful Treasure I enjoyed everything about this restaurant (if you've read my other reviews, you know I can always find SOMETHING I don't like). The ambiance, service, food selection, quality and prices, everything. It was a lovely experience, and I look forward to returning. It's a must-try!
Cracker Barrel is a place we visit regularly When we pass through Joplin, we often stop at Cracker Barrel. We've never had a bad experience there. It's a nice friendly casual atmosphere, and we also enjoy browsing through their store before or after the meal. They server mostly comfort food, and I've found it to be pretty tasty! One side note. One of my co workers had worked...
Very good Sometimes we have to wait for a table, but browsing the store is a fun way to pass the time. Food & service is excellent.
Cracker Barrel is a fun dining and shopping experience combined. I like the vegetable plate the best. It sometimes tends to be a little crowded during peak serving times but it's worth it.
