My partner was craving Cracker Barrel, and we were in the area, so we arrived around 11:00 on a Sunday morning. I fully expected to have to wait a while, but we were immediately seated. It was busy! Friendly welcome. Nice store. There are lots of cute items for sale. Sweet hostess seated us. Allade (?) was our waitress. She bites. Lol. For example, I ordered the build your own. It comes with a choice of meat & 1 side. When my food came, I didn't have the biscuits. She told me I didn't ask for biscuits. Didn't think I had to since it was a standard part of the Build Your Own. Overall, the food was good. Biscuits are always the best part.
We did an online order. First time, the pancakes looked like crepes. Talked to the very nice manager and went back to get the replacement. This time they were not cooked thoroughly, mostly batter. When I went back for a third time, the waiting staff was short and rude. I’m thankful the management staff was polite and made efforts.
As a Father’s Day lunch I expected to come into the restaurant knowing it would be busy but I was lucky to come in and the hostess got us sat immediately. However, things quickly change by one person who was our server. “Mary M” whom not only was rude not once, not twice, but three times. I will ensure that I ensure all of my friends and family who go to this location will be now re-directed to the tunnel road location. I will not be returning with any of my family thanks to “Mary M”
I was working disaster relief in NC this past week, took a day, and stopped here for Sunday dinner. It was really nice. My waitress was sweet and the pot roast was like a meal from momma. I took my bread back to the hotel and had butter biscuits for breakfast one morning.
