Great place to meet a friend This is a favorite meeting spot for friends. The food is great and its a great place that everyone know about to meet and chat. I love the country fried steak. (doesn't beat my wife's though!!)
Portion size disappoints There food is always good but this visit the portion size of their catfish was disappointing. Let's face it when you go to Cracker Barrel you expect larger portions. I do have my eye in their rocking chairs for my front porch. Well made and good quality

Greasy spoon Service is fast but food lacks taste. Sawmill gravy tastes like flour and water--no seasoning at all!
Service makes this place shine!. Normally we aren't huge fans of Cracker Barrel, but the service staff here really makes this place a must go. The food is consistently good. Southern favorites like biscuits with red eye gravy, and hash brown casserole fill you up. The kitchen seems to really crank it out, you get hot food fast. The service is always above and beyond, ask for Janine, she is a hoot!
