Dr Carpenter explained my problem & solution in simple to understand terms. He was going over my upcoming surgery & was giving me an idea what to expect. Dr Carpenter has a good “ bedside manner.” Not all surgeons do.

I fell on Jan 27th and severely injured my shoulder. After weeks of insurance delays and frustration, a friend sent me to Emerge in Wilson—and it changed everything. I’m fairly new to the area and when I was searching for an Orthopedic Surgeon I found Dr. David Carpenter. He is articulate, compassionate and a perfectionist in his field of medicine. I highly recommend him!

He listened to what I had to say and checked my shoulders and ended up giving me a Cortizone shot in each, which seems to be working

I had carefully researched shoulder specialists and Dr Carpenter filled the bill. He is pleasant and communicates well, understands my concerns, while still keeping a schedule (in other words you won't wait long to see him). He did major shoulder repair on a friend's husband and they were totally satisfied with their experience; I am still hoping to avoid surgery, and Dr. Carpenter is not going to push it unless absolutely necessary.

Very personable. Listens to patient feedback. Takes the time to do thorough exam. Not just in and out like some doctors. Excellent doctor to see for hand issues.

Dr Carpenter was great. He was so nice and also treated my mother with kindness and respect and attended to a problem she didn’t come in for. Taylor in Xray was kind and helpful too!
