Where do I start? I walked in on this fine Sunday afternoon with my beloved girlfriend and children and boyfriend. Karlos immediately thought I was homosexual. And didn't wanna take my order he insisted I would go somewhere where I was perhaps hillcrest he recommended. Long story short I will never come to this establishment again.

Everything was worst & very late to delivery the food very bad customer service especially from Hector was very rude with us !!
Went to Dave's tonight and the restroom was blocked off. I asked when it would be opened and the lady said "it needed to be cleaned". After I ate and an hour had gone by I saw it was still blocked. (Having to really go at this point) I asked again. Staff all of looked at each other and said it wouldn't be opened up. I then asked individually one of the people cleaning a table and he said it was maybe due to theft. Looked and sounded like they were all just being lazy. usually this place isnt a miss but today i decided to order online since its a 20min drive for me but as soon as i picked up my order they replaced my mac n cheese for cheese fries because they ran out? & no one told me anything as soon as i picked up my food. The lady at the front taking orders was also rude when i went to pick up my shake. I dont understand its not hard to communicate with costumers. I was not being rude whatsoever, killed my vibe lol

The chicken is very good and I would love to go back for some more but I'm wondering when DHC will comply with the San Diego Single Use Plastic Reduction Ordinance which went into affect citywide almost 1 month ago? This aims to protect the very beaches that attract so many customers to this business. Someone told us about Daves Hot Chicken how good and tasty it was, we couldn't wait to go try it out and it was just fried chicken on a bun with french fries on the side similar to Popeyes Chicken I was not impress at all ! , will be my first & last time going there ! Honestly not my type of fast food ...it was funny because they make sign something in regards to their hot sauce , aim assuming its something like were telling you its super hot so its now at your own risk and can't complain if you burn your tongue etc etc bu... read more

Bad experience at the El Camino one in mission valley, placed an order with Jason and my order never got processed and I wanted my money back and instead of just giving me cash I have to wait 4 to 5 days unacceptable! Your employees need more training cause waiting over 40 to almost an hour for my order is definitely unacceptable!

Last night I ordered 2 tenders with fries. One tender was medium spice and the other was hot. When I got home to eat it, neither tender had much spice to them. Typically the hot tenders make my eyes water. The receipt was correct and the box was labeled correctly as well. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with this location.

"fast food" We waited 15 minutes in a line of three people and we waited over half an hour for this "fast food" You would think that for food that took this long it would be better quality but it is just as good as a McDonald's which would take 5 minutes max
