LA native here and late to the hype of Dave's Hot Chicken. I am faithful to Chick-Fil-A but ended up here after a day in DTLA. Only thing I regret is not trying sooner! Service was great even with employee's being on the younger side. Manager handed us our food & asked if we needed any extra sauce which I took note of and thought that was really cool because from my understanding it's kind of like Raising Cane's. Went to Dave's for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. chicken was hot and had great flavor. They fries were fresh and crispy. I will definitely be back.
I've had daves many times at many different locations and this may be the best one I've had. The food was on point seasoned perfectly presented well and tasted amazing. Service was really great too.

Great service no parking though wish it had its own plaza for parking but because of the church and taxis it's hard to find

Dave's, what can I say.... Before I moved to LA, there was always 2 spots I had to see when I would visit. Supreme on Fairfax, and Dave's hot chicken on western. Back when there would always be a huge line out the door. Now they've expanded a bunch and there's never any lines but that's not to say the food isn't just as good as it was back then. Dave's will always have a special place in my heart when it comes to Hot Chicken. Being a lover of hot chicken, Dave's has stayed in my top 3 list for years.
