Have sadly been disappointed by Dave's lately. Feel as if the quality has gone down while prices have gone up. The sauce packets are unfortunate, and the fries seem to get smaller and sadder each time I go. Hope they can return to their roots.

This review is long overdue. I was a regular here for a few weeks when this spot first opened in 2020. When I lived down the street, it was always a solid takeout option after a long day. Forreals, something about Dave's hits different. Not sure if it's their seasoning or the quality of their chicken, but the chicken is immaculate. Juicy, tender, crunchy, just the right amount of salt and spice, and goes so well with bread, fries, or in the slider. The best reaper spicy fried chicken I've had. First few bites were flavorful and delicious, until the spice kicked in. I started sweating and tearing up, it was an experience. Other than that the wings were really well seasoned and juicy. Would not recommend the reaper spicy level unless you have tried anything spicier than the California reaper pepper, you will not be able to handle it. (Drinks arent included in combo)

Dave's has become a hot chicken staple here in LA, and apart from a few instances their food is always on point. I was particularly impressed by how fast they prepared the food for my order, and there is ample seating inside. Free street parking on Sundays (maybe weekends?). All in all, there are better hot chicken places but Dave's can definitely satisfy any cravings

Dave's Hot Chicken is always good. It's the hot go to food when you are cold and starving in the office . Just posting a review with the "updated" aka raised prices.

Living in Los Angeles, I think many people would agree with me that Dave's Hot Chicken used to be the go to spot for whenever you craved a Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich/tender, but whether it's the pandemic or chain business that has ruined Dave's, I wish they would go back to their traditional ways. I've been to Dave's hot chicken a few times and it's delicious. The chicken has a great seasoning and is a big portion. I love the sliders the kale slaw was plentiful and tasty. Fries were crispy and not salty. I will be back sooner than later.

Great food and staff always friendly. I order from here at least once a week. Cashier recognizes me and always makes me feel welcomed

I've only really had Dave's once before and it was only mooching a strip or two off my sister's takeout awhile back. I needed something quick and easy before the 100 gecs concert last week, and I didn't really know what I was in the mood. But then it hit me - chicken. And what better chicken is out there than Dave's. I went with the classic mild seasoning for my two strips and it was the perfect amount of heat.
