Solid hot chicken choice, although I am getting a bit tired of places that sell tenders only that does seem to be the trend. It'd be nice if they had a gluten-free version too, so I can take my girlfriend.

Of all the new Hot Chicken places that have arrived in Dallas, this one stands alone as the best tasting chicken of them all. The spice has a particular smoky kind of flavor which gives it a more satisfying taste than any of the competition. *THE* choice to start your hot chicken journey.
Loveee - will definitely be back. Great flavor, great service, food was good and came out quick! I think we got lucky, we went on a Wednesday evening around 6/7 and easily sat down! I had the medium spice level and could definitely go up to the next level! 10/10 recommend!
Hot is too hot lol. Medium is almost too hot and I couldn't face myself in a mirror if I'd had ordered medium. One "slider" is enough as it is actually the size of a regular Chick Fil A sammich. Yes, I said it, CFA. Imagine a CFA sammich with their kale salad and actual piece of spicy, non-pickle juice soaked chicken on a bun. Viola', you have Dave's Spicy Chicken. Hubby and I came in around 9 on Saturday night. Wasn't empty but wasn't full either. The menu is pretty limited but there isn't much you can do with chicken tenders. Food was prepared and served fast. We shared a hot slider combo. The flavor was really good and the chicken was juicy and the fact that there are two more levels that are spicer than this beyond me. 8/10 great experience.
3 stars for the effort (on food)! This place has a lot of potential, but the food is overrated. (only excessive dry seasoning on tenders, no flavor mac n cheese) Compared to other hot chicken places, I highly recommend RICKY's in Richardson over Dave's.

So good, you're not going to find anything this quality with the spice and flavor in a drive thru. Soooooo good, can't say enough. Came with bread and pickles, so fire
Dave's was good, but has absolutely nothing on Ricky's Hot Chicken. The chicken was overcooked and comeback sauce was bland. I'd only go again if I was craving chicken and Ricky's was closed.

Service was stellar. The owner personally spoke to us and asked us about our food. When they accidentally put cheese on the sandwich, they were super nice about it and gave us a brand new one. The food was amazing. Medium or mild spice is what I recommend. Also, the fries are super good. You need to get fries. Definitely coming back and would definitely recommend to others.
