Solid Tenders, a little on the dry side but seasoning and heat (I got hot) were spectacular. Fries with their seasoning were also solid as crinkle cut fries gave it an extra bonus. Dave's sauce was very good as well, has a similarity to the Raising Canes sauce. Bread was generic white bread that was unfortunately on the stale side. But very solid and would eat here again

Dunno what all the complaints are about. I was able to go just after the lunch rush and only 5 cars ahead of me. Got the 2 slider combo and 2 individual tenders, both extra hot. we both found it to be very tasty. be warned though, the "sliders" are huge, definitely a meal for 2 people in my estimation. The extra hot had a pleasant spiciness but not overpowering. I think could handle the reaper. next time! btw, I read comparisons of this place to ricky's hot chicken that I just don't understand. The food and service was fine, but check your expectations if you're expecting "hot chicken" I like pretty spicy stuff, but I went on the milder end since it was my first time and I had somewhere to go immediately after and didn't want to walk in sweating with a red face, so I went right in the middle with "Medium" There are 3 levels above that (Hot, Extra Hot and Reaper) and 3 levels below that (No Spice, Lite Mild, Mild) I wasn't expecting these to be very spicy, but being that there are 3 levels below this one, 2 with... read more

Great new spot for some tasty hot chicken. My friend and I dined in and there was plenty of space. The menu is pretty limited, but everything was tasty. My friend ordered the #3 combo which was 1 tender and 1 slider. I got the #2 combo which was 2 sliders. Each combo comes with a side and you have the option to add cheese for $1. Drinks are extra. Super delicious. Line was extremely long, it wrapped around the building, HOWEVER - it moved quickly. I hate coleslaw but it was delicious in that chicken sandwich! I got medium hot and it wasn't spicy at all. I'm going to try the reaper next time.

We came during dinner on a Sunday and they were pretty packed which was expected. Surprisingly, the wait was not that bad and we were dining in. We were able to catch an open table right before our food was ready! The drive thru was crazy that I feel like ordering and receiving inside would have been faster. The food was so good I convinced 4 of my coworkers to get it today and I just had to get it again even though I just had it 3 days ago. Everyone loved the food and it was even better the second time around. Still a 5-star rating IMO.

I read about this restaurant on Dallas Morning News and the hype from its origin in LA. I think its a great restaurant to eat at if you really like spicy food. I got Hot and i'm a total wimp still. My nose started to run and my eyes are tearing up. My friends who seem to be professional spicy food enthusiast laugh at my pain. From then on I ponder about getting new friends. Should be named Dave's different flavored chicken strips. I wish I would have had a different set of expectations going into this place. Had I known it's a cane's alternative versus a Nashville hot chicken style then I would have enjoyed it more for what it is. Short review: If Dave's is on one side of the road and cane's is on the other, i'd go to the one that's most convenient to my position. No preference, no care.
