TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Start with the good parts. Everything was correct in the order and it's amazing how well the employees handled the onslaught of customers. It tasted fresh. It seemed like they have really good turnaround because they are very busy. Now the negative parts are just my personal opinion but we may have very different tastes so you may love this place and be over the moon about it. Great service and great food. Simple menu and they do it right. Line was long but that just means it's a good spot. Line moved quickly. Will return!
If you like crispy chicken with a kick of flavor. You gotta eat here! I've had up to HOT flavor. It's hot! Two more hot steps to try. The chicken portions are plenty large. Two does the trick for me! Go to Dave's Hot Chicken. You won't be disappointed.
Best halal fried chicken (period). The chicken was so soft and juicy with the most flaky-crispy outside. Willing to make the 2+ hour drive for this again.
Good service and good food. Ordered online and it was super easy and my food was ready when they said it would be. And thank you for staying open past 7pm unlike most other restaurants in Santa Rosa. Not everyone eats dinner at 5 and goes to bed by 8pm.
Went with three friends today. We all got tenders. I went Hot; they went medium, mild, and light mild. Reaper must be an ass-kicker, because the hot was HOT. The fries were really good, and the slaw was too, and the dipping sauce was, well, also really good. Place was clean, staff was polite, service was prompt - I'll be back!
