TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I heard a lot about Dave's Hot Chicken and how it's a pretty big thing in So Cal. Out here in the Bay Area there are so many Spicy Chicken sandwich places to choose from so I didn't know what to expect. This place isn't too far from the Graton Casino and parking isn't hard since it's in a plaza. Best chicken around the area. I usually get the sliders medium spice. If you want fried chicken, go here.
Amazing service. Super friendly staff, and helpful. And!!! best chocolate milkshake I've had in a while.
Came by for a late dinner and the staff has been helpful helping me find the right level of spice. The menu is pretty simple and the eating space is appropriately lively and organized
Just tried this place. The chicken is really good. I like that you can choose how hot you'd like the spice. Fast service.
Not bad tasting tenders. Although quite overpriced especially when you order an extra tender and it's the size of a chicken nugget! FOR ALMOST $5.00 dollars????? Come on Son! Gimme a break. Although I must say they gave me an extra tender after I complained. The size of fries with the combos are too small. Either serve larger portions or lower your price.
Honestly not bad at all. The coleslaw on the chicken sandwhich makes it super tasty. Putting honey on it as well is chefs kiss. I will say the sauce to dip your fries in can up it's game though
