TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dine-in service use plastic food container and places extra condiments and food container in a plastic bag...very wasteful. Dine-in should just be given on a tray along with re-usable utensils if needed.
Never had and thought I would give it a try. As I was standing in line, the nice guy ahead of me said they were paying for my food. I thought it was a commercial like the Honda one where they pay for your gas lol. Well, he actually did pay for my food. Come to find out, he is the owner, Darryl and he was with his family. Brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, friend, and we cannot forget the amazing Tyler at the register. His niece has such a beautiful smile when giving you your food and is so polite. They are always so accommodating and nice when we pick up food from here. Also, my favorite spicy chicken sandwich + fries for sure! Their sauce is bomb too!

Oh yes. Nothing like some spicy food to shun any bad spirits. My little boy was craving some spice after his youth group so I decided to try this establishment. I don't care much for spicy food but tired the least spicy option and oh boy. I have never craved something more. Oh if my mother could see me now!

We ordered online, and the food was ready when we arrived, so the service was quick and on time. The food quality was standard, nothing special. The restaurant was loud, crowded, and hot, but it looked relatively clean. Since we ordered to go, the ambiance didn't matter much.
