TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Omg just had Dave's Hot Chicken for the 1st time lastnight and I'm a fan! I went with the Dave's #3 which is a slider and tender. I substituted the slider for the "Not" Chicken (cauliflower) slider and soooo glad I did!!! First off, no one mentioned the spice levels to me prior to ordering so I went with Hot as most places to me arent as hot as I can handle. Ummm NOT here! The Hot is HOT!! I was literally dying! I Am Here for it , always perfect always golden always delicious ! Enough said . Every single time my order is the same and Dave's Hot Chicken never disappoints . Two sliders with fries, extra pickles with medium heat , yes please and thank you for having awesome chicken sandwiches . Great customer service, fast friendly with smiles and efficient . Clean space to eat .

Came here to see what the hype is about. I was excited to try the Dave's NOT chicken and though the sandwich was probably one of the messiest things I've ever eaten I'm so glad I made the trek! The indoor space is small but there is a lot of options outside. The service was friendly and relatively quick for how busy it was. I got the #4 with cheese and I couldn't finish all the fries. Opted for medium but honestly I probably could have gone a little hotter. I was elated to be included as a vegetarian. Worth the stop.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Good, fresh, clean white chicken that is served piping hot with crinkle cut fries. Service a bit slow, but worth the wait. Some of best fried chicken fast food out there.

The demise of Boss Bird left a void in my go to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Kluckin failed me. Dave's location was not ideal, but I heard good thing from a foodie colleague. We gave it a try on Friday and we all left satisfied. The chicken had crunch!
