The demise of Boss Bird left a void in my go to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Kluckin failed me. Dave's location was not ideal, but I heard good thing from a foodie colleague. We gave it a try on Friday and we all left satisfied. The chicken had crunch! Customer service was excellent, we were able to order quickly and I actually like the focused menu (not too many options). I had the slider (medium hot) and fries. So I came in solely because of all of the advertising for Dave's Not Chicken...cauliflower, in the place of chicken?? Ummm, yes, yes and yes! My vegan/vegetarian friends, I have found your holy grail "chicken" sandwich but even my carnivorous co-habby of mine gave it his ultra picky stamp of approval. Delish! It was lightly breaded with your spice level of choice, nice and crispy with tender cauliflower in the center of it all. We both agreed we would get this again in a heartbeat! Food: I have tried all spice levels, none are unbearable, they are rather quite pleasant and full of flavor. It's as if the intent is a flavorful bite each and every time you dive into your meal. The fries are excellent! Both the tenders, burgers and fries are complimented extremely well with the cheese. Thomas demonstrated great customer service. He made sure that I had all the utensils and napkins that I needed as well as condiments. Food was great and fresh as well.
