TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tonight we decide to try Dave's Hot Chicken for the 1st time and let me just say that the gentleman name Justin that took our order was amazing! His customer services was an experience I haven't felt, seen, and experience in decades! I am not kidding from walking in the door until we left! I went to Dave's with my kids because my son heard about it from his friends. I sent them in with my credit card while I waited outside with the dog. The food was great and I appreciate there are many options for the level of spice! What I really appreciate though was the service. My son (13) said that since he was unfamiliar with the menu, he asked questions for himself and about recommendations for little sister. He ordered confidently with their guidance. Incredible service !!! :) Thank goodness I didn't get a call back to say I had to cancel the appointment because of a technical problem with the app that was going to take place in my account so I'm just now seeing the same issue again today with my credit union that was the one I was told that was a problem and they were not able access
Outstanding Nashville style chicken and I love the decor. Service was very friendly and attentive, definitely 5 stars!!!
Daves Hot Chicken is great! From their sandwiches, to their tenders, to their fries. The service is fast and it's one of the few late night places in the area. Whether you're getting this ordered through Uber Eats or going in and eating, it's a staple in our house. Huge plus that it's halal.

The Food was very good, well seasoned. The spice wasnt too spicy, the fries were really good. the workers were kind and the restaurant is clean.
Tried both Dave's Hot Chicken on Preston Road. The Reaper is awesome. Painfully delicious.
