TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I ordered take out for dinner with the chicken slider with fries in the #4 meal. I would eat there at the restaurant next time instead of ordering to go because it would be better hot. I ordered mild but probably could have ordered medium since it did not seem that spicy. I forgot to take a photo of the food when I got home. The portions were good sized with lots of fries and a chicken patty bigger than the bun. Fast and friendly service too.
On the hunt for a chicken sandwich, we found Dave's Hot Chicken. I was initially wary when it was suggested to me because most hot chicken places tend to use lard for their hot sauce and/or to ensure that the seasoning sticks to the chicken. I never heard of this but just took a chance on it. Mid-afternoon on a Saturday it is packed and people just keep rolling in. Just one thing served here...really good chicken served as hot as you can stand it. Now open until mid-night on Friday and Saturday, the target audience is not Seniors (like me). Always a big fan of Dave's. Been to several locations and they are all good. Chicken is very good and spicy. I like that you can order online and that they have a pick up window outside at this location. Next time I'll be getting that reaper spice level. Extra hot just isn't spicy enough for me.
Best chicken in dfw the sandwich is absolutely delicious and there chocolate shake is to die for and best services

Honey on chicken is my new thing. Food: My bf & I usually split the 2 sliders (a medium for him & a hot for me) with fries. It is just enough food so nothing goes to waste - I love that. We were so skeptical about the honey, but it has been life changing in the best way. Service: We've been here 3 times & have met nothing but kind and friendly workers. Environment: We've never had an issue with finding a table, but we don't ever go during peak hours. Very clean!
Great Service. Mark provided exceptional help with my order and was very nice. Also, the inside of the building was very clean! Great place!
