Definitely worth a visit. We drove 20 mins to try the famous fried chicken at 4:50PM on a rainy Friday afternoon and the wait was not bad at all. Parking was very easy. Decide to see what the hype was about and it didn't disappoint. Decided to go on a Wednesday night after work and line was still decently long, probably waited 15 min line before reaching the register. Customer service was good, the staff was polite even though it seem to be a busy night. Its located in a shopping area so it's definitely brining more customers to the area. Dave's hot chicken was the bomb I had the reaper it was too spicy but I couldn't stop eating it!!! I will do extra hot next time...
First time at Dave's Hot Chicken in Menomonee Falls and had a super tasty lunch of medium hot (middle of the 7 levels) tenders and fries. The chicken was juicy and hot and the spicy rib was flavorful and tasty. Portions were good and certainly filled us up. Fries have a dusting of mild spice rub that made me want more of them. Combo No. 1 includes two slices of bread, pickles and dipping sauce that complimented the chicken perfectly. Sliders are also available. Check it out!
First of all hands down to the staff opening day was well organized. Food was perfect just like home. Cali my family and I are foodies, we recently moved from California to De Pere, Wisconsin. My daughter follows Dave's on Instagram and when she saw that they were opening one up near us we decided to make a rode trip. We will definitely be back.
Don't fear the reaper... And I didn't. My husband picked up the sandwiches, so I can't speak to the service, but I am sure it was great. After finishing my last exam of the block for medical school, a group of us decided to meet up at Dave's hot chicken to celebrate. The line was almost out the door when we arrived. This led me to wonder "Can the chicken really be that good?" The answer to that question is yes. I ordered the number two with a small chocolate shake. WOW!! Great place!! They recently opened and were VERY busy when I arrived, however the line moved at a good pace. The menu is very simple which makes ordering quick and easy, I was a little skeptical about the pricing considering you only get 2 tender however they are very large tenders and I was completely satisfied with the portion size. The chicken itself was VERY good, the mild seasoning was the perfect amount of spice and the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. A+ would recommend.
Decided to go in and and I gotta say, Absolutely worth the hype. The portions were big and worth the price I payed for it. The chicken was very spicy and very crunchy. And the Mac n Cheese, oh so creamy. The fries had the perfect amount of crunch. If I could rate higher than five stars I would. Also the staff was friendly and fast. No complainants. 5/5 Absolutely Recommend
