The drive thru was slow, but it was fine since there weren't many cars. The chicken was fresh, juicy and flavorful. The pickles were good too. However, I agree with the other reviewers that there is an odd gritty feel when you eat the outside of the chicken. It felt a bit like eating chicken covered in powder, which technically it is because of the added spices, but texturally, it was a bit off putting. Perhaps reducing the quantity of powder might help or making it into more of a sauce? Still, it was a decent and well-flavo... read more

The ambiance was really fun. I went with several UCI students, and we enjoyed the decor immensely. We also appreciated the late night dinner spot. Too many places close early in Irvine, which is strange, particularly near the university. We got the standard meals, chicken, bread, and sauce. Medium spice. The chicken was juicy, the bread was surprisingly ordinary, and the sauce was nice. I found the flavor of the chicken was good as well. What I didn't love was how much seasoning was on the chicken. Some of the best Nashville Chicken in OC. I get the Combo #2 which is two sliders with huge pieces of chicken in them that really fill you up. For spice level, get Hot. It's a bit hotter than your average hot wing. Ask for at least 2 extra sides of the awesome Dave's Sauce which is like a Thousand Island. I use that on the sliders and on my fries. No ketchup needed.

The food was really delicious, definitely better than typical fast food restaurants. Service at the drive through took a while, but the wait was worth it for the piping hot, freshly prepared meal that was served. The "mild" heat level was plenty spicy, in my opinion. I loved the chicken slider, and the fries were very well prepared.
