I never leave reviews but the daves not chicken hot cauliflower slider changed my life. Consider this vegetarian very impressed
I've been here several times. It's our go-to for a bite when starting road trips/going out of town. Food is always good. The individual taking and delivering my drive-through order today (Misael C. per my receipt) was upbeat and courteous. Great customer service.
Service was very friendly and I liked the simplicity of the menu. They give you the options of combos with sliders, tenders, and fries which made ordering really easy. I tried all 3 of the options and enjoyed the crinkle cut fries the best out of the three. The slider was decent but the bread was a little too soft and soggy for my liking after a few minutes. I was so excited when Dave's hot chicken opened in Irvine. I was always telling my bf that I wanted to go to the one in la, but it's so far. When it finally opened here, we immediately tried it and it's been one of our go to spots ever since. I love that it's a drive thru as well. I don't have an opinion on service because we always drive thru, but the drive thru is always good and they never forget items like other fast food chains. Great portions for price point. They offer different spicy levels- the medium didn't have much heat, but everyone has different tolerance for spice. The chicken is juicy, yet crispy. I wasn't a huge fan of the bun they used for the slider.. it was a bit too sweet, like a Hawaiian roll.
Chicken was good to perfection and I loved the pickles on the side. We were also given some fun paper bibs to wear. Great service, super clean with a funky yet crisp decor. We ordered Chicken Sliders and Chicken Tenders. We gobbled them up, so no pics.
Chicken is good. Service can be slow- perhaps understaffed.. Sometimes you get greasy containers and cutlery - makes you question the food- but so far no major issues. Friendly staff on our visits.
