Dave's has always been a go to place for me. Their chicken sandwiches have such a good sauce and have such a great amount of pickles. Just make sure to get hot because the media is not very spicy. Love it !!

Dave's hot chicken can be a good or bad experience depending on location. The first time I had it was in Costa Mesa and I found the food to just be salty and lacking in flavor. But the location in irvine on culver has yet to disappoint. Every time I come the food is great. I always get the sandwich with fries and a coke. My only comment is that service takes a while but, it's understandable as it can get quite busy inside at times. Other than waiting for the order there's usually no issue.

I love and loathe this place for the exact opposite reasons I love and loathe Raising Cane's. Chicken - Raising Cane's heavily relies on their sauce, so their chicken is bland by default. Dave's is at the opposite end of the spectrum, with more salt than the Dead Sea. Breading on the outside could have been more crisp. Fortunately the tenders inside were juicy. I like going there because I get to enjoy the spicy choices (#2 is my favorite), while the kids get the no spice tenders. The food is awesome and the service is good too...
This place tastes amazing, really awesome food. The staff are not overly friendly which is fine with me but may be a negative for others. My only complaint is the drive through took a very long time in the past. Lately that has been improved and I will adjust my review to 5 stars if that stays that way. I hope this location stays, it is really convenient for me and tastes really good.

First time trying Dave's hot chicken man it was so good. Me personally I would recommend Dave's #3 and the sliders are so big. The cashier is really nice and your food comes up pretty fast they ask you if it's going good. Please come to this place.
Great food, amazing atmosphere. Really great convo with Sufyan at the counter, was super helpful and pleasant!
