TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Daves Hot Chicken is on my weekly food rotation! The food is great and the staff are nice! Karina helped me and she was very friendly and personable. She assisted me with my convoluted order. Out of all of the other Dave's Hot Chickens I've been to, this is one of (if not) the cleanest I've seen. It's spacious inside and there are tables outside as well.

Of all the hot chicken places around, this one is easily the best. Beats Clyde's by a mile. I do wish they had ranch though! Seating is a little tight but other than that, no complaints. On multiple trips, the servers have been great.
It's great! The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. Very polite staff. Melody in particular was very friendly and attentive!
