TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Today 11/25/23 at around 9:08pm, it was the first time I ever had a good experience at a Dave's Hot Chicken & also my first time at this location (Fullerton). Employee Isabelle was very sweet & let us know her name and told us if we needed help with anything to let her know! She seemed to have a positive attitude towards all customers walking in and offered help to everyone. Employees that present themselves this way deserve to be recognized! The food was great as well!
The service is outstanding for a fast food place. Although I've only been here twice, I noticed the employees are super sweet and kind! The entire area is also super clean and a bit cold, which I don't mind at all. As for the food, it is absolutely amazing, I would definitely choose here over Clyde's any day. I ordered the slider and tender combo with extra pickles. The pickles are super fresh and cool which pairs well with the hot tender and slides. Line was crazy for the free sandwich but the employees got us in and out. Everything was super fresh and tasty would come back again
service was amazing, love the atmosphere and food. Bessica was extremely nice. I waited about hour for the free drake slider. It was worth it!!
Melody (Mel) the cashier was amazing! as soon as you enter dave's, she greets you with a smile and positive attitude! she was on top of everything in the cashier position making sure everyone got their orders and was being helped at all times. she was very helpful when it came to ordering and informing us what is in a slider and suggesting different things to add on. after visiting 2 other locations in socal i can say this has been the best experience at Dave's Hot chicken and at any fast food chain i've every visited. as al... read more
