Is the hype worth it? Yes, of course it is. In terms of cost, all fast food places are more expensive these days. But you'll love this place.

They have unique decorations and all around fun environment. The service was quick and polite. The food was better than I anticipated. The chicken had a lot of flavor. And I loved the sauce they have!

I got the two sliders with mac & cheese ($14.99) and other orders for my family. It was their first time eating food from Dave's (and my umpteenth), and they enjoyed it. I really appreciate how the chicken has a blend of savory and slightly sweet flavors. I was hungry at the time, so each bite was quick even though the portion size was large. The price point for two sliders with an accompanying side is relatively high, but it's still a nice and reliable treat to have.

Great ambiance, amazing food, and nice service. A must-try for anyone stopping by or living around the area. I went during the busiest hour of the day. People were coming in and out of the place everywhere. I ordered the Dave Meal #1 (medium spice with Mac and cheese) and the Dave's not chicken fried (cheesy fries topped with cauliflower). The tenders were very juicy and the seasoning was a little sweet and salty. It wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it to be, but it was still great with the Dave's Sauce. Tried Dave's hot chicken for the first time. I gotta say the spice levels weren't as intense as I thought it would be. I got a medium and mild. Medium felt more like a mild. So I will for sure get a higher spice level next time. My favorite was the sliders. I'll be back for those for sure.
