This place took over the old Sochi boat place. I observed this place when I visited century theater. They seem to have a long line all the time. They are pretty fast at taking orders and getting food packed. The ambiance of this place is just like any other fast food place but the tenders coated with whatever spice that is, it's awesome. Like how the menu is small and it feels nice to quickly order rather than thinking a lot.

Honestly, it's pretty good. I personally don't like when my chicken is over seasoned but its better than it not being seasoned I guess. Although I did feel like the chicken was a little dry and I like when my chicken is juicy. I also feel like their large cups are smaller than other places. The workers were friendly and made sure I got sauces if I wanted them. When you walk in, you can't help but notice the art on the walls. The perfect crunch and spice in a chicken sandwich. I got the "hot" level, plus a side of mac and cheese. Both were perfect. Better than those fast food chicken restaurants for sure and worth the extra buck for the quality you get. Service was on point too.

Really big portions The chicken was a little salty for me but still delicious Liked the crinkle fries but its better with cheese on top Basic drink selection Self seating and outdoor seating available Pretty busy and loud on a Sunday so we sat outside Service was friendly and quick Food took about 10 minutes but super worth the wait Everything is packed to go with extra ketchup, honey and Dave's sauce

The best f*ckin chicken sandwich I've ever had that puts Chick-fil-A to shame. Gotta have their mac n cheese too! I highly recommend ordering online instead of in person. Everything is made fresh to order so don't expect "fast food." Don't arrive starving or you'll get hangry during your 20+ minute wait. If it's your first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken, get the Medium. It's an explosion of flavor without the burn.

I had a decent experience on my one other experience with Dave's in Sacramento. It was a bit spicy hotter than expected, but juicy and tasty. I was glad to hear about one opening in U.C. I finally decided to give it a try. I was at first put off by the high prices for basic chicken tenders. But, okay... I'm here, I'll give it a try. I made a take out order with medium sauce. My favorite spicy chicken sandwich place! Think raising canes but SPICY . They take their spice seriously here so mild if you want to be safe because that one already has a kick. Warning that medium can have a burning sensation on your lips. My favorite to get is the #3 which is a slider and a chicken on wonder bread.
