TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Solid Hot Chicken Sandwich spot imo! I waited for the hype to finally die down because there was such a crazy line those first weeks. Made an online order for a medium slider + hot tender combo with a side of Mac and Cheese (Combo #3). I was quoted 15 minutes but the order was already ready when I got there 10 minutes later. Food is really good they have never gotten a single order wrong and the food always perfect
It's finally opened, and it does not disappoint. Where can you get a decent size fried chicken with fries for less than $10? Here!!! Not only is the food delicious, but it is also an amazing deal. I would highly recommend and come back. Note: lunch time rush hour is super busy with long line. You might want to order online ahead. :)
Union City location is 10x better than San Leandro Everything from service & food is good.

It lives up to the hype. It's very tasty chicken. It is pretty heavy. U can't have it back to back. Good once in a while. Like 1-2x a month. But it's got so much flavor. Not dry like apple bees chicken aka raising canes. I thought chic filet had best chicken. I was wrong. This is worth it. And now unlike months ago u don't gotta wait forever in line. Definitely check this place out.
Super friendly service. All tables CLEAN. Not too many menu options, but the chicken is delicious. Light, crispy. Nobody in our party tried anything hotter than "Hot". Medium and Hot spice levels both excellent. Great sit down quick serve fried chicken joint. Definitely kid friendly environment.
first time to eat at Dave very satisfied with the sliders but mad at myself should had got the hot instead of medium but overall very delicious

My husband convinced me to come here as he LOVES Nashville hot chicken. I ordered the combo including one hot chicken slider and fries but subbed for Mac and cheese instead. Based on previous reviews, I decided to go with Hot for my spice level. Ultimately, I was a bit disappointed that the "hot" did not even seem very spicy. So excited when we heard this was open! Many people say Dave's Hot Chicken was really good, so when I found out this was now opened, I had to try! The menu is pretty simple: chicken tenders, chicken sliders, fries, Mac & cheese. Then choose the levels of spiciness. We got #2 & #3, for #2 order I got it in "Hot" & for the #3 order, I got it in "mild." The "hot" flavor isn't that spicy, it's like eating hot Cheetos.
