Service was extremely friendly and fast. The interior is spacious, clean, and well lit. The food was absolutely amazing. Chicken was flavorful with a nice kick. Im subtracting two stars because I saw an employee use the urinal, not wash his hands, and go back into the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. Very disappointing since the rest of my experience was pleasant.

I love and hate going to Daves Hot Chicken!! Chicken sliders are awesome, fries are good, but if you add cheese they become a little overly soggy. Perhaps a little extra crisp on the fry's when the cheese is added. BTW..added cheese will cost you an additional $1.50. Sliders cheese add is .50. Location is good! Used to my my old Sushi Boat lunch spot. Now here is where it drives me nuts!!! The LOUDNESS in the store!!!! The acoustics are crazy loud bouncing everyone words around the place. I absolutely love their chicken sandwiches, I always order the spice level hot. The kale slaw is amazing and literally better than chick fil a. The inside is so bright and the artwork just overall makes you feel like you're going to eat at a 5 star restaurant. The customer service is amazing as well, they all love what they do and you can tell.

Forget hot boys in Oakland! This place is better. Simple menu, always the same quality, and extremely friendly and good staff. Good spot to go quickly if you're hungry and can't decide what to do. The inside has plenty of tables and room to eat too! Best part for me is it's halal too!

Food tastes on point as stated! I ordered #4, Mild for the chicken and cheese fries. They had my food ready not too quick, neither too long weighing in the wait time. Inside it's spacious! Knowing that there's only 2 branches of Dave's Chicken - one in Union City and another in Sunnyvale. I'll take advantage of the Union City branch for my chicken cravings.

Simple menu; mostly chicken tenders or chicken sandwich. You can pick the level of spiciness: 5 levels. Side dishes include fries and kale cole slaw. Had chicken tenders & kale coleslaw; chicken is deep fried with a light but hard batter; batter is definitely a very tasty mix and mild spicy is just right for me. Well, white meat chicken is very very tender!! coleslaw is just ok, but cheap: $3.xx Counter service is what can you say... fast food service type. Nothing to write home about. But courteous. Amazing hot chicken ... If you can handle "hot chicken" You should really try "REAPER"... Best hot chicken slider and tender I have tried! Highly recommended for spicy chicken.

So the pictures don't do this place any justice. We looked at some pictures people posted and kind of hesitated... but WOW ! They do not disappoint ! The portions are huge ! The food was hot and fresh. I thought it would get soggy driving from Union city to Newark, NOPE ! There's no sogginess what so ever. My bf thought two tenders was going to not be enough so I ordered two extra, and he was so full from the two tenders and fries that he couldn't touch the two extra tenders. So please try this place !
