The tenders at Dave's are excellent. They're bigger, more tender with a solid crunch and very flavorful. If you like spicy go to Dave's, and they offer non-spicy too. It's a unique chicken joint that I recommend.

First time trying Dave's and it was great. The wife and i shared the 2 slider combo one hot one mild, came with crinkle cut fries and kale slaw. Everything was so fresh and hot. We took it to our hotel across the street and our fries were still crispy. The cashier was very helpful and asked if we had been before and we said no. Well he explained all the varieties and combos they offered. Just a heads up each tender is approx 1/4 lb so the sliders were more of a sandwich. I will definitely try it again.

Give these guys a raise immediately! I messed up big time yesterday and accidentally placed a pre-order for the completely wrong day. I showed up at 10 PM--which was like 15 to 20 minutes after they had already closed--ready for food, only to realize my mistake. Instead of telling me I was out of luck, the crew at this Cockrell Ave location went completely above and beyond. They literally fired up the very last open fryer just to make sure I didn't leave empty-handed, and they even threw in an extra tender. That is next-l... read more

I was not feeling well last Sunday so, I decided to get moving w some errands. I remembered and ex Coworker said, this place was soo good! Ever since then, Ive been wanting to try it. I read the reviews and this is a popular restaurant. I noticed they have a location by TCU too! Here's what I discovered. I love the atmosphere but the windows were tinted pretty dark so, it looked like it was closed. However, it was not. There were quite a few people inside. The music was on and the temperature inside was just right but the ... read more

Food spicy and delicious, service always friendly, a bit loud music but my order got ready in short period of time.
I had a great mistake, I'm sorry Dave's hot chicken, I came back and ordered slides, and it probably was the best decision of my life, it was juicy, crispy, and delicious. The service was great, the ambience was pretty cool. But Dave's answer this, if chicken is your power, what are you without it?
