TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I love hot, I love chicken, so it's a given that I would like Dave's! There was only one issue, it was the smallest chicken sandwich I've ever had! We live and learn but I guess I should've paid more attention when ordering. They do call them "sliders" so it's my fault. I guess what confused me was the price. For 1 "slider" and fries my total was like $10 or $12. I was scared to death to order a drink because I didn't have time to take out a loan to complete the purchase. Cool spot to eat. nothing spectacular but it was worth the try. Very clean on the inside and the employees were nice. 6/10
Chase was amazing. Very helpful on deciding what to get. The food was mediocre. Wouldn't drive out here again but if i was in the area i might stop. Got the reaper, however wish it was more of a wet sauce rather then dry rub.
Pretty good, Seasoning is a little much , next time no seasoning on chicken & fries and try plain slider and just put honey on it and see how it taste . We will be back soon
The food was very good, but the prices were a little too high for fried chicken. The extra hot is just enough heat but the reaper is really hot I didn't finish my chicken my husband had to finish it for me LOL but it comes with pickles and the Dave's sauce it's pretty creamy and good, the fries are crispy and the seasoning on them is very tasty! Would come here again. The staff is good and attentive also.
Went here for the first time after seeing so much about it. It lived up to the billing! The food was super good, and I love the different levels of heat. I like hotter tastes while my wife is more of a mild person, so this fit us perfectly. The chicken is absolutely delicious. The sliders are great, especially if you add cheese. Definitely recommend if you like hot chicken, and will definitely be going back soon.
#4 with Mac & Cheese First time here and I'm super impressed! We said it was our first time here and the manager Tiffany preceded to give us 4 drinks on the house! We then went to sit and heard someone ordering cheese fries, so we went back and asked to add cheese onto our side of fries and they said don't worry about paying!! Amazing staff. Tiffany, The manager is so kind. The cheese fries and sliders are amazing the "very hot" is not hot enough that you need a milkshake but it packs a punch. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite but I believe they use American cheese which I don't like. I'd come back for a slider with cheese fries any-day!!
