Went and tried the famous Dave's hot chicken . Everything was good first off we went during the fast week and it was very crowded. We went on a Sunday and the line moved very fast . We decided to both get the 2 sliders and fries, our son which is 3 got the mac and cheese . I've had Dave's in LA and wasn't super impressed but figured i'd give it a shot here as well since it'd been so many years. Still no impressed and prefer Hot Chikin in Ft. Sq. or Joella's in Broad Ripple

I wanted to like this so badddd it tasted mainly like chili powder and a few other spices. Mediocre at best. The one I had in LA tasted better. The service was fast though considering the line.

Do not read the reviews above or below, as Jesus said they know not what they say. Super nice staff Quick Service and spot on flavors. I am not one for fast food but this was excellent. To the lady who commented about the frying method and gluten options. DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. Restaurants being reviewed by amateurs can ruin a great spot and in a city with very few dining options, this is a great stop.

Pretty good! I ended up getting the Hot spice level but as a spicy good level it was not very hot. Going to get there Reaper level next time!

Man. I'm really let down by this one. I have a friend in Colorado who swore by this place, would beg me to find the nearest and try it. When I told him one was opening he asked me everyday if I had it yet. Finally tried it and I was pretty let down. We ordered 4 sliders and 2 tenders with fries and a side of Mac N cheese. We only received 3 sliders and 1 tender. Not a huge deal, a bummer but not a deal breaker. Food was hot and fresh.... The chicken looked promising....... I was fortunate to be able to visit when there wasn't a crazy wait. I ordered online and everything was available when I arrived. The food quality was awesome, the buns were my favorite haha. The chicken was huge and great quality, I just didn't love the seasoning they used. Not sure if it was the heat level I ordered or if all of their seasonings are this way, but it was just kind of a salty dry rub. there are so many chicken places around now, I think this was stands out as different than other hot chicken places, but it's... read more

The chicken was amazing. The hot sauce went from sweet to nose clearing hot depending on the bite. Only complaint is that for what is essentially fast food, I'm paying a premium price. Almost $20 with tip for the combo and a drink.

This place is a hip new joint off of Mass Ave. There is tons of metered street parking available in front of the restaurant and within walking distance. There are colorful murals all along the walls and music playing throughout the joint. This place has a lot going on here. It was very loud in there. How loud you ask?
