Definitely solid place to eat chicken was cooked perfectly only down side was fries were kinda soft and not a lot of them. I'll be back for sure

Been wanting to try this spot for a long time, and it was worth the wait! Chicken was crispy, had great flavor, and the sides were delicious!! Fast and easy service, will definitely be back!!

OMG! Forgot chick whatever you call it. This is 10x better! I like spicy and the extra hot was perfect. Go for the #3 and enjoy even on Sunday!

Listen here...I grew up in the South and lived in Nashville for 12 years and in New Orleans for 2 years before moving to Eugene. I've had the privilege of eating some amazing meals. Dave's is the way hot chicken is SUPPOSED TO TASTE. I've lamented that everyone who got up here must've dropped the spice rack somewhere on the Oregon trail. Thankfully these folks did not. Solid 5 stars! The employees were so sweet and helpful. Gabe took our order and another young person with long hair and a mustache gave suggestions too. I got 2 medium spice sliders. The sliders are huge! The chicken was really crispy and moist. A previous poster said it is too spicy - not true at all. Sounds like that person doesn't normally put salt on food, so not sure what they expected from a restaurant. Keep those salt levels where they're at - it's perfect! I was introduced to Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time and my fried chicken life will never be the same. Crispy breaded chicken must be one of my all-time favorite foods, and I think I found a new front-runner. The chicken strips are huge, juicy, crispy, and full of flavor. You can requests different levels of heat (spiciness). If heartburn wasn't a side-effect, I'd go more regularly. But don't let that stop you! It's a most wonderful self-indulgent fried chicken fest you'll ever have.
