Pleasantly surprised. Good hot chicken made to your requested heat level. Very comparable to anything you find in Nashville Tennessee.
This was my first visit to Dave's Hot Chicken but it definitely won't be my last. I ordered online and left my apartment. About 8 minutes later when I got there my food was ready to go, fast. Food was delicious. Between the three of us we ordered sliders and tenders, regular fries and cheese fries. Everyone was very happy with their food. Downloaded the app as to not mess around next time
Extra hot was just right at the beginning and then it built like creeper. By the end of the meal I was convince hot would be my go to next time.
We stopped here after the Common Kings concert to try, it was definitely the bomb! We had the Cauliflower bites, Mac n cheese, Cauli sliders and fries

The service Wa super fast, my son enjoyed his hot chicken and I enjoyed the not chicken cauliflower slider!
I know, you're not supposed to give a chain restaurant five stars- wouldn't be cool enough, I guess. There goes my little bit of street cred. But the Dave's Hot Chicken in Eugene earns it. The staff is friendly and goes the extra mile. The ambiance ... well, it is a chain. But it has some nice local nods, and it was spotless and clean inside. The cauliflower slider was everything I wanted it to be; soft bun, firm slaw, fried well, sauced appropriately. I ordered it Hot, and I would've been ok with it being 25% more spicy than it was, but their spice levels leave room for that if you really want to get lit up. By comparison, the cauliflower slider makes Chicken Crossing's vegan sandwich taste like a Lunchable. Now that Flame-N-Ray's is no more, this is probably the highest quality veg 'chicken' sandwich in Eugene.
Slider is a good size and filling for lunch! Love to add honey for a sweet and spicy balance.
