New to the area, Daves Hot Chicken is extremely good. I recommend to stop here if you are in downtown Eugene! 5 stars
Would easily say they have the best chicken sandwich, the perfect amount of of tang, moistness, and crunch. The buns hold up the sauce well, I'd even recommend getting extra sauce to dip it in. It was pretty busy when I came by on a late evening, had to wait a while before everything was done but it was worth it.
Dave's is one of those spots I usually only go to after being out for the night. They are one of the few places open late in Eugene and is super close to the popular college bars. I can't say how good the food is on a typical day but I do know that their hot tenders are so very scrumptious after consuming 4 shots of tequila and a few amfs. Nick was an amazing server! Cannot recommend him more. Super friendly, kind and humorous; everything you'd want and more when coming to Dave's Hot Chicken! My expectations were blown away by their service, primarily Nick's!:)
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a nice vibe. Food is super tasty.
It's Dave's you know what to expect. Met the expectations. The food is good it's not blow your mind away, though I really enjoyed the dip. Though the size of the chicken slider was perfect. Great college spot will be back.

It all starts out on a rainy day where my gf and I both were too tired from work to want to cook today so we decided to look around for a place we haven't eaten at yet. We stumbled on Eugene having a Dave's Hot Chicken. I am sure parking on a non-rainy day would be problematic but that isn't something to be held against Dave's Hot Chicken. wha I like most I the chicken isn't just spicy but also very flavorful. the staff were kind. we went here because of my son who wanted to go for his birthday. he really enjoyed it! the prices may be steep but the food makes up for it. overall it's a good place to go to every once and awhile; it's a good trea.
