TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Adding a review for this location since I was here today. Again this is my favorite Hot Chicken place. While there are other good chicken spots, Dave's is on top the food is always good, the service is always friendly and while I have not been inside (I go through the drive thru) they do have a nice dining room. My personal fav is the 2 sliders, medium with cheese and the f idea are excellent!

During my first experience at Dave's hot chicken, it was delightful to hear that they offer a no spice option towards many of their menu options. I personally am not one who is up for spicy food, especially when it comes to chicken. The outdoor seating was very convenient towards my party as well as the quality of food that was served!

Great service and I fell welcome with my service dog. The music there was amazing and inviting. The food is delicious and the honey tops it off.

Tgis was my first time trying a different chicken place, and I have no regret. This is the best chicken, and the services were great. Would highly recommend.

Awesome food and great service. The lady was really helpful and patient with me even though I didn't quite hear her instructions. Parking lot is small but not crowded if you come early. Place is very clean as well. Spice levels are great and consistent, which is great for me since I'm sensitive to heat.
