I came to Dave's Hot Chicken and was about to sit down when I saw a roach crawling on the wall. I dislike that. A worker came over and stepped on it with no apology and no effort to clean the area with proper spray. They used a plain napkin and walked away. It made me question the cleanliness of the place and it ruined the visit. If I could put 0 stars I would.

Walked in and no one was in the front. I saw people working in the back and looked up at us but no acknowledgment. After 7min or so someone came up to take our order. Mind you this is my 1st time here. Ordered two of the chicken sandwiches combo. The sandwiches were supposed to come with coleslaw. I love coleslaw and was looking fwd to tasting it with my sandwich. Looking inside the sandwich, it looked very sad a few threads of slaw. Not to mention the amount of fries. Very sad won't be coming here again.

Literally no line when I ordered. Saw the tables full of customers with no food on their table. How long did I wait for our food at this place? 40 long minutes. People working there did not let us know how long it would take nor did they apologize for the long wait. Everyone going up to the counter wondering where their food is. Inexcusable. Stars only given because the food is still okay.

Our chicken wasn't hot, it wasn't even warm. Our coke was flat and seemed to be out of the syrup. The bread was soggy white bread. But tbh the chicken was still crispy despite it being cold. anyways probably won't be coming back since nothing was great.

They added a weird divider line for the drive thru lines and now it makes it so much harder for online orders because you have to drive all the way forward and then reverse to the window. Literally makes no sense to have that divider there.
Visited 8/8/25 during my lunch break, and waited over 10 minutes in the drive thru. I had seen a family walk inside so didn't think much, but time ticked by and no one took my order. Finally had enough and drove down the drive thru lane, and sure enough I didn't see anyone inside near the window. I was also only customer in line, during this ordeal.
