Wanted some fried chicken and my friend told me about this place. I was little disappointed to see that it did not have regular fried chicken, just chicken strips or tender what ever you want to call it. Chicken strips is my least favorite part/style of fried chicken. But I said meh. I'm already here so I'll give it a try. As a vegetarian, the Cauli Slider was the best thing I've eaten in a minute. I was at a Yelp event a few months ago and, as always, I asked everyone what the best thing they've eaten recently is and someone said, the Cauli slider at Dave's. It took me too long to follow up, but I'm so glad I did! I trucked my husband over to Gilbert today to try Dave's Hot Chicken. I ordered a Cauli slider, cheese fries, and drink. Delicious chicken, minimal menu but makes it easy to decide what you want. The levels of spice vary enough for all audiences.

Inside decor is very cool. Trendy, even. Employees very pleasant. Fries were not that good. Please don't serve me 45 minute old fries. Your not fooling anyone. Chicken was decent.
Nice spicy chicken, tasty fries and slaw. It's a great spot to cure the munchies. If it were closer to the house it could be problematic.
