TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Inside decor is very cool. Trendy, even. Employees very pleasant. Fries were not that good. Please don't serve me 45 minute old fries. Your not fooling anyone. Chicken was decent.
Nice spicy chicken, tasty fries and slaw. It's a great spot to cure the munchies. If it were closer to the house it could be problematic.
Sometimes drive 20 minutes just to go here. Definitely recommend this place if you like hot chicken and if you can handle some spice.

The food was hot and delicious! I put in my order online and it was ready when I got there. They were busy with a long drive thru line and several people dining in, so I was surprised to see my order was ready when I got there a few minutes early. The employees were helpful and pleasant. It was a great experience!
I recently went vegetarian and that means no more fried chicken (or so I thought) and so when I heard about Dave's "not" chicken slider, I knew I had to try it! It's a breaded cauliflower patty served on a bun with coleslaw and pickles. It did NOT disappoint. The breading was nice and crispy and the cauliflower was so flavorful. Fast friendly service. Came my lunch break had 20min.. they were pretty busy drive thru took 10-15 mins. Fries were really good perfect crisp with seasoning. Ckn choose ur spice, I did mild-not spicy, both good but ckn coulda been better,assuming how it was cooked not the recipe itself, the seasoning was on point. Everything looked well together and clean exterior was well kept. Chill clean vibes.
So I like chicken. I eat it for most meals and very rarely eat a lot of beef. I say that to say this chicken can be bland and needs to be flavored just right, and Dave's hot chicken has done that. Going to the location we did was a drive but worth it. I live out in Queen Creek area and we drove specifically for this place.
