TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was great. Good portions for the price. Staff was incredibly polite friendly and helpful. Clean restaurant. 10/10. Couldn't have had a better first experience.

There is a new chicken game in town, and Dave's hot chicken is the hot game, the sandwiches are really chicken, the fries are good the chicken, the bun, the little bit of coleslaw in between freaking awesome, this is the place to get your chicken freak on.
We ordered online and went to pick up our meal. We were impressed! The chicken portions are giant and the breading is great. We had lite-mild and mild and liked both of them. We also got the cheese fries...which were great. Value for money...wow. Also, the order was ready in something like 10 minutes. Already waiting for me when I got to the Sandy location.

First time eating here and it was delicious! Very kind people working and the restaurant was very clean! The chicken and fries had the perfect crisp! I should have ordered a gallon of the Dave's sauce!
Great food, great service, great price. Probably the best food I've had in Portland in awhile. The food seemed extremely fresh.
While skeptical of this outsider chain suddenly popping up everywhere in Portland I thoroughly enjoyed my DHC experience. My chicken was hot, moist, and the breading was somehow crisp but light - and not oily. This may be my new favorite chicken in PDX.
Dave's Hot Chicken! Looks fun and inviting. Their online ordering is on point, you can get their sliders or tenders from reaper spicy to lite mild and customize the combos, one mild one hot, etc. We tried sliders, their tenders and some fries. My kid thinks he can handle hot, well I got two mediums chicken tenders and had to switch one with him. Hot is gonna be hot. The chicken is flavorful, well spiced and tender. The bread is just typical Nashville style white bread. I would definitely eat here again.
