I've gone to multiple Dave's Hot Chicken and I've loved it every time. I like to go with their #2 which contains 2 sliders and fries. The chicken is always super tender and the bread is nice and soft. The slaw and pickles add a lot to the sandwich and gives it some extra crunch and sourness. Oh man, Dave's Portland, what happened to your sliders? I lived next to the original East Hollywood location and went there religiously. The difference between this and that location is simply the buns. In East Hollywood, the bun on the slider was decadent, fluffy, firm, warm, and every hyperbole you could think of an artisanal bun like you got it from a local baker. The one here? Tried this place or the first time with the family and it did not disappoint. The chicken had so much flavor. We got the mild and the spice level was perfect for me. Just a little bit of heat but mostly it just added so much flavor. The sauces were good too. Definitely would recommend this place.
This chicken is beyond good. If you have an addictive personality, you may be in trouble. I keep thinking of reasons to go back. Guy behind the counter had a great attitude
The food was amazing and I got it really fast with the nice staff - I have been to other locations and this one was very clean out of the rest!
Was there again last week. Same smiling faces serving great chicken. Hot on the outside hot on the inside, great fries! Everything is still first class for a fast food restaurant.
