Dave's Hot Chicken! Looks fun and inviting. Their online ordering is on point, you can get their sliders or tenders from reaper spicy to lite mild and customize the combos, one mild one hot, etc. We tried sliders, their tenders and some fries. My kid thinks he can handle hot, well I got two mediums chicken tenders and had to switch one with him. Hot is gonna be hot. The chicken is flavorful, well spiced and tender. The bread is just typical Nashville style white bread. I would definitely eat here again.

Wish there was more veggie options here, but the kale slaw and the fries are on point. The space is open and bright and inviting and they seem to be a well oiled machine in the drive thru lane. Would love a vegan option in 2023!

Love the simplicity of the menu. Kale slaw is on point. Had a slider and a tender, one was HUGE and the other was Itty bitty. However, you know it's real chicken. Order an additional tender that was way over seasoned. Will.come back. Ben is a good ambassador.

Dave's Hot Chicken is popping up all over Portland! You can't miss their vibrant buildings, especially this NE Sandy location with all the graffiti outside and in, most portraying aportland Icons giving this national chain a local vibe. I don't eat a lot of hot chicken but I do like a crunch in the breading. Maybe it was an execution thing but my 2 chicken fingers had almost no crunch at all. Other than that, it was ok. The crinkle fries were awesome. I don't get the white bread under the chicken. Finger sandwich? Maybe a SOCAL thing? LOL I'll give it another try and get the sliders.

I ordered dine in with my family and there was an employee in the back that came out to make sure my baby didn't get spicy fries and went out of her way to make a special cheese bread from my toddler without me asking. Quick and easy, yummy chicken sandwiches.

Pretty damn good. This chicken is SEASONED. Definitely get some honey with it to even out the saltiness. I got mild and it had a little kick. The "sliders" aren't sliders, they are a whole ass sandwich. I could only eat one and was stuffed. 2 people can definitely share the 2 slider combo with maybe an extra side. 1 person would be fine with 1 slider meal. The staff was super friendly. Had the slider, with fries and mac'n cheese. Best chicken sandwich I have ever had, hands down. Kinda spendy but worth it. Why save a few bucks and be disappointed with something from one of the other chicken chains? I will be going back.

This place is fine. We got pretty much what we expected. We ordered the Slider/Tender combo x2. One medium, one hot, both subbed fries for one Mac&cheese and one slaw. The chicken wasn't dry at all and the bread was pretty good. The hot was surprisingly spicy for me but both had good flavor. I really enjoyed all the pickles. The mac & cheese and slaw were just okay but I read their fries weren't anything to write home about either.
