TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Do not come here. Me and my group of friends came here on Monday and the next day on Tuesday we all experienced a sore throat. We were all fasting all day and came to Dave’s hot chicken to break our fasts and spend some quality time together. The following day we all experienced a very bad sore throat. Food was freaken’ amazing! It was our first time here and Jeff the manager helped us out with suggestions and tips. Service was super fast too! Everyone was very kind and helpful. The chicken was HUGE too which I have no complaints over lol love the spices! I got hot and very hot just to play it safe but next time I’m going for the Reaper! 🔥 🔥
I always get great service here, Ma took care of me again today. She is great, always very friendly and makes sure I am well taken care of. Best fried chicken in Folsom. Its not just hot, it is well seasoned and packed with flavor. Utterly superior quality to KFC, Popeyes etc, but also much better than higher end places like Nash and Tender. Service is quick, they do offer drive thru. The mac and cheese is really good. Also the ambiance is kind of fun, funky casual very west coast spot.
Best place on earth to get chicken tenders and fries!! The sauce is amazing for one and two the fries and tenders are on point. I highly recommend going to Dave’s hot chicken. My personal favorite place to eat on the planet!!👌👌
Service was quick. We went in at 8pm on Friday night. Line moved quickly and we had our orders ready by 8.10pm. We ordered Dave#1 and Dave#3. Combination of medium, hot. It was perfect. Not a fan of their plain bread. Tenders were too greasy for my liking. Fries and kale slaw was decent. Liked Dave’s sauce, they were generous with the extra servings of the sauce. Clean and neat ambience. My husband says he is coming back to try reapers(their hottest chicken) the next time.
