So glad they came to Altamonte...much closer than driving down to 50. My first heat level was Hot...next time I'll notch it up a level. Hot gave a good tingle but no sweat (for me). All tasted pretty good (I had the combo with a strip and a slider). I'll go back for another visit soon.

Excellent fit the bill. Little off put by the tip amount when using a credit card, however service has been great. Portions are huge, each slider is like full chicken breast. Not cut or flattened. Ordered two couldn't finish

I ran across a random Instagram post showing the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken. I figured that it's Friday night and I want to try something different and good. So why not? When I pulled up I can see people in waiting all the way to the door but in was commuted on trying this chicken spot and I was not disappointed. Opening day! First time at a Dave's Hot Chicken! Everyone was super nice and they have some pretty awesome graffiti art in the walls depicting Altamonte:) I won't spoil it for you. But definitely walk around and check it out. You'll get a little chuckle if you are from this area. This restaurant is located where the old World of Beer was on the corner. I love their chicken and was in Altamonte for an appointment. I was excited to be close to a Dave's. I travel with a service dog and when I ordered the sever told me that the manager would prefer I sit outside with the dog. She was properly vested and obedient Golden's retriever. That was my intention all along, but to have someone tell me that the a service dog was not welcome in their establishment made me angry. Our first impression, upon entry into the restaurant, was that it didn't seem very clean. The young man behind the counter was friendly and answered our inquiries about the spice levels. We ordered a few things and while we waited for our order, we were distracted by the young lady sweeping the dirty floors. She literally used the same broom to sweep the tables.
