TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Wasn’t busy during lunch time on a Sunday. Audrey was super nice and friendly as she took our order. We checked out the drink station whole waiting for our order. I mixed up my peach iced tea and pink lemonade. Super refreshing especially on a hot day like today. Food was ready a few minutes later, piping hot and it smelled heavenly. The chicken to bun ratio was out of this world. Tender and juicy all white meat, seasoned well and lightly breaded. Fries were crispy and were awesome dipped in Dave’s sauce.
This was my first time going to eat here since I've seen so many people rave about this place but this experience grossed me out. I bought the sliders and bites and the chicken was all undercooked. Once you bite into the chicken you could taste and see how the chicken was raw. The only good thing were the fries, pickles, and sauce. I do NOT recommend. The sliders at Dave’s tasted fresh and delicious. The fried chicken has a unique flavor and you are able to adjust the spiciness from 1-6. The special sauce, paired with honey, and pickles was a delightful combination that left me wanting more. The service was great ordering takeout, my food was ready within 10 minutes. It was well worth $13 for two large pieces of chicken.
I had an amazing experience at this fast food spot! The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who greeted us with a smile and quickly took our order. The food was delicious, especially the crispy chicken sandwich, perfectly seasoned and juicy. The fries were golden and just the right amount of crisp. The ambiance was lively yet cozy, with modern décor and upbeat music creating a great atmosphere for a quick meal. Definitely coming back soon!
Our food was really good! They have great well seasoned fries, the Hot Chicken, both bites and sliders, were thoroughly cooked and coated. We come to this location at times when travel to our church's (Grace & Truth Baptist Church) Bible Study for some food before arriving. Have not had a bad experience yet.
