TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Wasn’t busy during lunch time on a Sunday. Audrey was super nice and friendly as she took our order. We checked out the drink station whole waiting for our order. I mixed up my peach iced tea and pink lemonade. Super refreshing especially on a hot day like today. Food was ready a few minutes later, piping hot and it smelled heavenly. The chicken to bun ratio was out of this world. Tender and juicy all white meat, seasoned well and lightly breaded. Fries were crispy and were awesome dipped in Dave’s sauce.
Food is always a treat to have, especially when I’m craving something small. Service is friendly and fast. You really can’t go wrong when eating here; who doesn’t love quick and fast food. I personally recommend getting the slider and tender meal since it gives you the best of both worlds.
I was helped out by Jaime and he was the best at customer service. I did have trouble figuring out what I wanted because it was my first time there and I can tell I was a pain 😭 but Jaime kindly waited and recommended his personal favorite meal. I've never had such amazing service and I would definitely go again as I had a great time. Thank you Dave's and thank you Jaime for a great experience!
Chicken flavor was a soggy burnt taste, fries were undercooked and had no crunch at all just like the chicken. Bread falls apart when picked up so even if I wanted to make a sandwich I could not. Mac & cheese tastes just like Stouffer’s. Not what I was expecting, especially since everyone raves about Dave’s.
Walk in and order at the front. When we went, there weren’t any tables available. It will feel like a food court kind of style. The menu has a few options which isn’t overwhelming to look at.
