TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my second time dining at Dave's Hot Chicken, and once again, it was a great experience--both the food and the customer service were solid. During this visit, we ordered Dave's 10-piece nuggets and one slider. While we were initially told it would take about 10 minutes, our order ended up taking 20 minutes due to a system issue. However, I don't blame the staff at all--they were very professional about the situation. To make up for the delay, they generously gave us three extra tenders and even handed us two cards ... read more

Best Dave's around! Honestly, very clean atmosphere, wall art is astounding and the staff is quick and courteous! Special shout out to the boss Miss Christina!! Amazing, fast service through & through every time I visit. I can't commend them enough! And you know the food hit the spot!
