The art work is amazing , friendly staff, clean environment and the food tasted great . Gave it a five star because of all of these things where thought of an executed.

A lot of potential here, but not the best execution here. The sliders were nicely done with cheese, pickles, and sauce, but the chicken was seasoned a bit too much (shocking that's even possible) -- seems as if the chicken is loaded with Old Bay/chili powder. While crunchy with a juicy interior, the overload of seasoning is a bit too much. Would suggest to tone it down a bit while maintaining the crispy exterior. The Medium is Hot Chicken perfection moist, perfectly fried, quality poultry, Fred Flintstone size tenders and sliders with delicious coleslaw and plenty of pickles. The Hot will warm your soul. Ben and his staff in Albany across from University at Albany were friendly and very welcoming. The vibe inside is cool and colorful! Congrats!

I was so excited to try this place when I saw it opened. I like spicy food, and I can tolerate it pretty well, but just be aware the mild chicken is still really hot! The flavors were really powerful and I find that in spicy food they aren't so prominent, but here they were. The menu is quite limited, but the place is new and I can only assume they'll expand in the future. The place is by the university so of course it'll be busy! If you've never been to Nashville and had 'real' Nashville hot chicken, you'll want to check out Dave's. There're a lot of places in Upstate NY claiming to make Nashville hot chicken. They're not. No one here makes anything close to the real thing. Dave's does not claim to be making Nashville hot chicken. That doesn't matter. When I was in Nashville, I gorged on hot chicken. I love the stuff.
