TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

So, I am a big fan of extra spicy food. And this place did not disappoint. I was in Austin for the past month and searched for some hot Nashville Chicken. This place popped up, but the closest location was San Antonio. Not driving an hour for that, especially since I saw some Yelp reviews from my Yelp peeps in Albany. please please lessen the salt on the chicken and fries. This restaurant could be so awesome if there was half less salt on the food. Flavors are great!

New hot place! Located on Western by the SUNY campus, this is the it place apparently. Super busy parking lot. We ordered online takeout. A very limited menu so the items they have, they make them well. Choose your hotness! I got medium tenders and fries. Even the fries have a kick. I ordered the two tenders and they are huge! I could only eat one and some of the fries. They give you a good amount of crinkle cut fries. The tenders come on bread with pickles and a side of Dave's sauce. The sauce taste like big Mac sauce kind... read more

It's definitely hot! I was pretty happy with the food from this new spot. The chicken was flavorful, surprisingly moist and tender, and yes, hot. I got the medium and it was just tolerable but I usually get mild when it comes to things with this type of spice so I wasn't too surprised. Although I'm not sure what the Reaper is like!! It's definitely loaded with spices, but I didn't find it overwhelming as that's the style of Nashville hot. Dave's sauce was delicious and the fries and mac n' cheese were decent. The service was okay, the staff were fairly nice (not something you often see in these chain restaurants) and the Ambiance was that childish modern look with those walls that give it a really cool and unique look. When it comes to the food, I bread, sauce, fries and Mac and cheese were good. Pretty good. I unfortunately was too scared to try the Hot Chicken so went for a mild.
