TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

So I wanted to put this out there because I was impressed, but this is feedback based on a recent review I had left for Dave's hot chicken not too long ago. I had a member of their support team reach out to me to try and make things right based on my last experience there. More than anything, I was impressed that they cared enough to even take the time to do this, because most businesses won't. so thank you Dave's! You've gained not only my respect but my future service.

Ahhhh! I will certainly return again. I ordered food online, i did request condiments and utensils which were not included. When i arrived the food was ready to go. The restaurant wasn't too busy, it has plenty of tables for eating in, and the space is nice and open. The staff were cleaning tables (which is nice to see). My mild chicken slider on extra soft potato bread. The chicken was well seasoned, juicy and had a nice crust. Fries were cooked and seasoned well. Special sauce on the side was a nice addition.

All things considered, this was definitely a 5 star sandwich for me. The place was surprisingly busy at 3pm on a Saturday, especially for Albany. I did like that the decor had some Albany-themed decor too. My friend and I were brought here because of their app download promotion. Within a certain timeframe, if you downloaded it they would give you a free slider when you order ahead.
