I was so excited to try this place when I saw it opened. I like spicy food, and I can tolerate it pretty well, but just be aware the mild chicken is still really hot! The flavors were really powerful and I find that in spicy food they aren't so prominent, but here they were. The menu is quite limited, but the place is new and I can only assume they'll expand in the future. The place is by the university so of course it'll be busy! They finally opened a Daves location in Albany. They're originally from California and have been expanding their restaurants in the east. Knowing that they finally opened a restaurant here, I had to go try it out! The location very close to University at Albany, plenty of parking near the area too. The store itself is also fairly big. It is very crowded as of todays date because the store just opened and everyone wants to try it out! I had to wait around 30 min for my order and food. The service was great! Not impressed at all. 16 minute wait for a few chicken tenders is a bit far fetched. Tenders were deliciously spiced but service received was horrendous. The tenders weren't worth $5 a piece either. Between the wait, crappy customer service & pricing, we won't be back. Too much money for too little product.

service was horrible. This was the first time ever being here and picking up an order, and the lady at register was very passive aggressive and didn't help nor was welcoming. She full on rolled her eyes at me. i get it for it being busy, but i thought this was a popular restaurant and they should have everything in order, so there was no need to be rude, even when i wasn't even causing any sort of problem.

I adore chicken sandwiches and love spicy food so someday I want to get to Nashville to try the chicken sandwich that it is so famous for. Until then, I have to rely on local options. The food was bad. Fries were dry. chicken was mid. Service was your average at an establishment like this. Only one register open when 20 people were in line. 2/10.
