TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Always great food when I come here. I typically go mild. Sometimes the level of spicy is hit or miss. But the food is great. A few simple combo options for chicken sandwhiches and fries. Or you can order the chicken by itself. Nice edition to the north county area.

Service is fine. The facility is fine, the question is; do you like the product? The coating on the chicken is a gradation of spicy with the base note of sugar and paprika. The sauce is a ketchup/ranch corn syrupy abomination. Fries are standard. Bread is substandard compared to Canes. Pickles are good. If you're a fat midwesterner who needs sugar on everything, you'll probably love this place.

The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. The food was fresh and the order was perfect. We did take out and nothing was missing. We love the chicken at Daves. This one did not disappoint. Enjoy!

I was introduced to this spot by my cousin. We had came here and the food was good. It could've been better if the slaw wasn't bland and the spice was actually spicy. If you get the fries, as for the fries "we'll done," but overall I give it a 7.5-8 for the food. The service was actually really great, the cashiers welcomed us in, got our order right the first time, and we're got our food in a pretty good time, I was honestly shocked how quick we got our food.
