TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We enjoyed our oder at Dave's using DoorDash. I thought the slider would be smaller but they are normal size chicken sandwiches. I thought it seemed pricy until I received our order. 2 slider is a lot for one person but I did eat both. Little stuffed after and probably will just do one next time. Probably better not to call them sliders lol little confusing. Got medium and will probably go hotter next time. Probably should receive two of Dave's sauce when you have two sliders cause I used one for one sandwich.

I went here for the first time. Medium was perfect and 2 tenders was a lot of food. The person helping me at the front was friendly and helpful and said 2 strips would be enough, which it was. Fries are good and the spice was tasty and not too thick. Definitely will be back.

Always great food when I come here. I typically go mild. Sometimes the level of spicy is hit or miss. But the food is great. A few simple combo options for chicken sandwhiches and fries. Or you can order the chicken by itself. Nice edition to the north county area.
